Math Online

By using the http://www.go.hrw.com/ website, students and parents can access a wealth of resources all day and all night at no cost. An extended glossary, practice problems, an online version of textbook assignments, math games, and CRCT information specific to Georgia students are just some of the resources available.

A favorite of some students and parents are the video tutorials where a professor of mathematics actually teaches the lesson! Chapters in the textbook are replicated online.

Once you reach the site for your grade level, simply choose homework help (you can click it or just roll over it), then the chapter, followed by the lesson.

You should then have the option of choosing practice, which is always beneficial, or video. If you choose video, turn your speakers on and be patient; you are about to enjoy private tutoring from an instructor with a doctorate in mathematics!

Note: The video tutorials also include the option of closed caption available in both English and Spanish.
